The short answer
Your celebrity parents are the two famous faces whose combined features come closest to the geometry of your own face. Upload one selfie and the generator returns that pair, a resemblance score out of 100, and the features that carried the match: face shape, eye spacing, nose bridge, jaw angle and mouth line.
It is a resemblance question, not a family question. Nobody can identify a parent from a photo, and this page will not pretend otherwise.
Why two parents change the answer
When you match against single celebrities, the winner is usually the face closest to your overall impression. When you match against couples, the generator has to satisfy two constraints at once: one parent has to explain your upper face well, and the other has to explain your lower face well.
That is why a pair can beat a single celebrity who looks more like you at a glance. The pair explains more of your face, feature by feature.
How to read your resemblance score
- 80 and above — several strong feature matches. This is the pair people screenshot.
- 60 to 79 — a convincing blend: a strong upper face or lower face, with the rest close enough.
- Below 60 — the best available pair, but your face mainly reads as its own. Worth trying a sharper photo.
Scores compare your face to the roster, not to other visitors, so a 72 is not a percentile.
Three ways to test the result
- Cover one half. Hide each celebrity in turn and ask whether the remaining parent still explains half your face. Strong pairs survive it.
- Check the feature list. If the report says your eye spacing drove the match, look at the two celebrities' eye spacing rather than the whole photo.
- Upload a second photo. A different angle should move the score slightly, not overturn the pair. If it does overturn, the first photo was doing the work, not your face.
What this cannot do
It cannot name your biological parents, confirm a family rumour, or measure ancestry. Facial resemblance skips generations, mixes unpredictably, and is constantly confused by expression, lighting and camera angle. Use it as entertainment, and treat any strong claim about real family relationships as unproven.
